AD COPY SECRETS REVEALED
The ad copy that a business uses to promote their products
is the one tool that will inspire sales or totally fail. That is why
the most successful ad copy writers are constantly testing and
retesting their techniques to stay on top of what works. This article
will show several current trends that are exploding sales for the
products that are being promoted today. The ad copy methods discussed
here are real eye catchers and selling motivators. Just surf the
Internet and you will see them in use everywhere.
Your ad copy should start out with establishing the business
as credible and trusted, as well as respected. If your business is
respected as being honest and credible then your products will
undoubtedly sell quicker. If anyone has done a review of your business
or written an article about you, then by all means include this in your
ad copy.
Find a famous person that is known to your target audience
and give them your product for free and ask them to try it and when
they are pleased with it follow up with them. Get them to endorse your
product even if you need to pay them for their endorsement and be sure
to get them to allow you to post their picture and some type of contact
information with their written endorsement.
Never hide behind your ad copy. Place a picture of yourself
in your ad copy along with a quote and contact information. This will
give your prospects the feeling that you can be trusted and reliable to
sell only the best of products.
If the product that you are selling solves a problem be sure
to employ the method of before and after pictures. Put a picture
depicting the problem that your product can solve then use the after
picture to show just how your product solved the problem. Again this
method establishes believability and reliability.
Get as many famous people to use your products as possible
and with their consent post a list of all their names. When the general
public sees that even famous people buy from you and use your products,
your business and products will instantly become trusted and they too
will buy from you.
The art of using the personal touch is becoming more and
more popular today. By using perfect penmanship hand write your ad copy
and then scan it into your web page. The use of hand written ad copy
over typed text tends to increase sales.
Throughout your ad copy be sure to ask plenty of yes and no
questions of your customers which will insight them to answer them in
their minds which will serve as a constant reminder why they
“need” your product to solve
“their” problem. Keeping their attention this way
will lead them to surmise what could happen to them should they not buy
your product now.
Remember that the longer that someone continues to read your
ad copy the better your chances are of making that sale. A
really cool way to keep them reading is to offer a
“free” gift or prize if they can find a set number
of words in your ad copy that have been intentionally misspelled or
spelled backwards.
With more and more tragic events in today’s world
as well as the ever increasing costs of research you could include in
your ad copy that a portion of your proceeds from every sale will be
donated to a specific charity. This appeals to the caring in humanity
side of you as well as your customers and many people will make a
purchase simply to donate to that charity.
Always leave your customer feeling as though they are
getting a great deal. Increase the value of your product by offering a
free bonus item with their purchase and to create the great deal
feeling be sure to include the original price of the free bonus item as
a listed savings to your customer. This way they not only feel they are
buying a great product but they are also saving the dollar amount of
the free item.
When you write your next ad copy be sure to include as many
of the afore mentioned marketing methods as you can, if your ad copy
does not already use them. Make changes as you go, however be sure to
tract your results so as to be sure which methods work best for your
products. As always keep your targeted audience in mind with every ad
copy that you compose.
